Cingular Now Selling HP iPAQ hw6510 (No Camera)

Cingular are now selling the HP iPAQ hw6510 on their website. It's pretty much the same as the hw6515 with one crucial omission; it lacks a camera. Or rather, it hasn't been lumbered with one. Your choice. Choice is good. :wink:

I would say that a phone lacking phone features is indeed a crucial lack of features...

Good one Darius... It was funny: a phone with no camera - and no phone.
I actually don't mind not having a camera. I think it's a waste: cost, material, memory, drivers... I am glad there are some models with and without this kind of accessory.

Yeah, for some people it is neccessary not to have a camera. My dad does inspections of comercial facilities for handicap accessibility and he uses his iPaq (which has a camera) to take notes. One of things he has noticed though is that many building owners won't let him use his iPaq because it has a camera built into it. Basically the reasoning is they don't want him taking pictures of certain areas of their building for security reasons.
I'm sure there are many other jobs like this where a camera enabled device is prohibitted more times than not.

Even I'm on the list who likes to have phones without camera. In my college, both boys and girls together study. So you know, there are some boys who do very 'cheap' stuff with their 8x and 10x zoom cameras. The camera phones should be a seperate catagory.
I would like to add that if a company rolls out a camera phone, then, it should be no less than 3-4 MP
