It looks like Resco creates a "~Recycled" on each storage device on your system -- I have one for the main memory and on my storage card. What you see on the Resco's recycle folder actually shows you the combination of what's in each "~Recycled" folder. When you empty the recycle bin items from each "~Recycled" folder are deleted.
This keeps in line with how recycle folders work on desktop machines.
In the Resco prefs you can set the amount to keep on the recycle bin before automatically deleting, or you can manually delete the bin, or set it to not use the bin.
What concerns me about the hack is how will Resco handle filename collisions when when items from memory and the storage card have the same name yet are being dumped to the same "~Recycled" folder? You might attempt to retrieve a file from the bin only to find it has been overwritten.
If you still want all of your recycled stuff to go to the storage card, but your storage card name is too long to work with the hack, there are registry settings to change the name of the storage card.
look in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageMachine\Pofiles\ then select your device types -- for example if you have a SD card select "SDMemory" and "SDMMC"
Under each of these is a key called "Folder" which should have the current name of your storage device -- change it to whatever you want then reboot.
Warning: your system will not be able to find any apps you've installed on the renamed card! Unless you want to go through the registry and set these again, I'd recommend doing this hack on a fresh card before you install anything to it.
