Cassiopeia DT-5200: Industrial Love
Well, this seems like a nice industrial device. Casio's newest kid in the rugged handheld market is the DT-5200, which is able to survive temperature conditions of -10C to 50C, and drops of up to 1.2m. The device has a 3.7" VGA screen, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, a 1-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, an awesome 20-hour battery life, and Windows CE 5.0. More pictures at Akihabara News.

Not that I'm likely to get stung with another Casio experience... but this big boy is rather interesting. Especially so is the picture of the device back with the phrase: "1.0 MEGA PIXEL CCD." Either that's a mis-print - unlikely on a production casing - or it's the first PPC digicam not using a crappy CMOS receptor chip. Cool. CCD chips are rather more power hungry, but they've got a killer battery in this one. And a phone pad? Is it a phone as well, or are the alphanumeric buttons a gag?

Forget rugged. Even as a regular PPC, those are pretty good specs

Not Windows Mobile though - so not a true PPC.

Well, It does say Win CE 5. It maybe different but could be possible to run many PPC apps on top of it's current OS.
Gerard. I think the buttons are for quick text entry and are an addition to hide the big honking battery.
