Buy A Dell Axim X51 From Dell Canada for $285

For today only, October 22, you can get the X51 Axim (416MHz processor) for $285 instead of the normal $399. The 624MHz X51v Axim can be had for $379 vs the normal $599. If you live in Canada and have been considering an Axim, today is the day to act!

how do I get that special price for the x51v? I got to the checkout where I have to submit my credit card number and it still says $711. Help me soon please! I want one NOW!

i just placed an order for a x51v for my sister for christmas. she's a little bit of a tech geek like me, so i know she'll be super pumped. she's wanted a pocket pc for a while now, and this deal was too good to pass up. especially since it's our mom who's paying for it!
i currently own an x50v and love it, i hope i don't get jealous and swap hers with mine when she's not looking, hehehe.

Hopefully the WM5 upgrade CD will be available by then, which will make yours and hers almost identical.

Pretty darn good - at that price for the X51v, it's some $9 less than I paid for my X50 (mid) just before the X51 series came out. And I considered that at the time fortuitous timing and an excellent price!
On the plus side for my purchase, it has meant I haven't had to live with the reported growing pains of a new OS / ActiveSync - and when my 'free' WM5 CD (eventually) arrives, I'll have had the opportunity (by living vicariously thru the adventures of others) to gauge whether the improved Word is enough to justify the upgrade.
Still, an excellent price for the X51v if you can make it work for you....
