Incredible Games for 2005
About a year ago, I wrote a couple of articles about the best games for Pocket PC (you can check them out here and here). It is now Autumn 2005, and boy have I got something new to report! This write-up is dedicated to all the great new games that have surfaced over the summer of 2005. These games are slicker and meaner, and I hope to give a thorough low-down on these new titles in this short write-up.
MTEAM
In MTeam is a superb shoot'em up.
EGYPTIAN PROPHECY
From the makers of , comes Egyptian Prophecy, a worthy successor that is poised to become one of the best games of 2005. Ramses II is dying and with him the glory of Egypt shall fall. The Sun-God promises to extend his life in exchange for the most magnificent temple ever built. Trouble is not far away as the buildingsite for the temple is affected by a number of sinister incidents. Maia, a young priestess, must solve the mystery behind these events and save the life of the Pharaoh. Egyptian Prophecy scores 9.5/10 from pdarcade.com. You'll need a 256MB SD card to run this game because of the high-quality video and graphics!
ANCIENT EVIL
Pocket PC Studio's is an action adventure set in the mysterious Crypt of the Ancients.Use deadly weapons and devastating magic as you traverse an immense 25 level subterranean world to stop the rising evil before it is too late. Presented in a 3D isometric view, Ancient Evil uses high quality graphics and real-time lighting and directional shadows to create the most detailed and visually appealing adventure RPG ever seen on a PPC device. POCKET MINI GOLF 2
is the follow up to the hugely popular multi award winning miniature golf game Pocket Mini Golf. Tons of new features have been added including multiplayer support, fairways, rough, sand pits, beaches, loads of interesting objects to negotiate and much much more. Don't forget to check out the cool expansion packs including , Fire Island, and now Spooky Hollow (perfect for Halloween). Clickgamer staff have played this title consistently for the past few months - lots of variety and tons of gameplay means this one comes very highly recommended.

MEDIEVAL HEROES II
Medieval Heroes II - a game of empire building and turn-based battles, you are a medieval lord engaged in combat with surrounding provinces in an attempt to unite Medieval Europe under your leadership. At the beginning, you control various provinces. Each province gives some resources (gold, metal and stone) to you. You can spend collected resources on recruiting new troops and capture new territories with their help. You can use your special forces for scouting, robbing and assassinating your enemies. You can also build castles, fortify them, and build additional buildings like markets or banks.
MADBEETLE
Help the Madbeetle is a great game that works for all Pocket PC displays (240x320, 480x480 and 480x640).

There you go! All these new games released over the Summer of 2005. Incredible, I say, simply incredible !!
