Default Pocket 4000 AD Released

http://www.pocket4000ad.com/

"Expand the reaches of your empire across up to 50 star systems, researching new technologies to create devastating weapons, planetary defense systems and advanced resource production facilities. Square off against up to four AI-controlled alien civilizations (Vlettos, Klangs, Xens and Hrspas) and/or human opponents."

Ah Thursday, day before the mostly considered wonderful Friday, and day when most of us are looking for something to make us look busy but not actually have to be busy. With the work-intense days of Monday - Wednesday past us, let us now dear friends view the work-unrelated news of Pocket 4000 AD's release. Retailing for $19.95, it just may be your late-week escape!

Looking forward to this. Turn based strategy is perfect for handhelds - I have found real time strategy to be unplayable.

RTS is difficult to play without keyboard shortcuts. TBS games can be paused and resumed. You can take your time with TBS, a frantic paced game is just not as fun on a handheld.

Considering I am an avid fan of RPGs and TBS over hack and slash I think this will be great. I'll have to wait and hear some comments first though.. I never buy based just on an ad.

Wow. Just read the review. It sounds like a really, really fun game.
