AnexTEK Prepares for moboDA 3360 Launch
"AnexTEK Global, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wistron, plans to launch its new own-brand PDA phone, the moboDA 3360, in October, according to company sources. The moboDA 3360, manufactured by Wistron, is a pocket PC phone powered by a Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system and runs on a 520HMz Intel PXA 272 processor, the sources noted."
We covered the moboDA 3360 Pocket PC Phone Edition back in June when it was unveiled at Computex. Since then, very little news has floated around about when and where this device would be released. Now DigiTimes is reporting that AnexTEK (the company behind the moboDA 3360, as well as the SP230 from 2004) is gearing up for an October release. The device features an Intel PXA272 520MHz processor, 64MB RAM, 192MB ROM, tri-band GSM/GPRS support, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, IR, a 2.8" QVGA (240 x 320) 65K-colour screen, a 1.3MP camera, SD/MMC support, and Windows Mobile 5.0. It measures in at 123mm x 61.5mm x 22mm and weighs 150g. The Li-Ion battery is rated at 1300mAh. Additional pictures can be found here.

I agree. They ALMOST got it right. The weight and screen-size of a JAM/K-JAM, but a hardware keypad, 192MB ROM, and Windows Mobile 5.0, but no 850MHz (I assume that's the missing band) and EDGE (optional, but still nice to have) would have made this a strong JAM and M600 contender.

Looks like my short list is the m600, Atom (if available) and the wizard.
I think my interest in the Wizard is waning the more I think about the MiniSD. There are so many other options.
Plus the year is not over yet. There may be other devices popping up yet.
