Keeping Your HTC's Straight
"As the first one in the whole Internet we reveal here secret HTC chart with all existing and upcoming models of phones made by HTC... Even upcoming Treo 670 Windows Mobile phone is included in this chart! Please note: previously we discussed shortly road-map of upcoming Windows Mobile phones made by HTC - that contains some complementary information to this chart!"
MSMobiles.com has put together a nice chart detailing each HTC produced phone and what each carrier around the world is calling the darn thing. Personally, I'd be happier if they all choose HTC's codename, but since that won't happen, I guess this chart is the next best thing. MSMobiles also has a road-map of upcoming WM phones by HTC that you might find an interesting read. Looks like, if the information is accurate, we'll have even more options to converge our devices in the near future.

Can anyone actually read the chart? 8O
In particular, I am interested in the intersection of Verizon and Universal. (Or Universal and any U.S. carrier)

Ahh. Didn't see the link. It's the wrong color!
Unvisited links are blue, and visited links are purple. Period!
Anyway, I'm still waiting to get my hands on a Universal. Would be good to know if http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/foru...73&start=0 will work with it, and what range.

While I would love the Universal, I can't see getting it for use in the US. With UMTS instead of EDGE you would be paying for a feature that will not work here.
I think I'll go with the Wizard if the processor doesn't seem too slow. That is until they make a US version of the Universal with EDGE.

Well, I'm not about to wait for 3G. This 2.5G stuff like EDGE and UMTS is not enough better than 2G for me to care too much.

UMTS is 3G. EDGE is 2.75G (based on GPRS which is 2.5G).
