Microsoft Money 2006 for Pocket PC Released
Microsoft Money 2006 users can now download the mobile version of the application to enable synchronisation between their PC and Pocket PC. I had a bit of a poke around today, and I won't lie to you in saying that those of you hoping for a huge revamp in the mobile application's features and user interface will be sorely disappointed. Having said that, it's still free and a good enough solution if you're not after something too fancy.

that's a bummer. I was disappointed with the last version. If I wanted something fancy to sync. with Money, what would be good?

I've always been a happy user of Spb Finance, which happens to be compatible with Money 2006 as well. Perhaps you might want to give that a go.

A vote here for Cash Organiser
I've been using it for a few years now and it has continued to work well.

Is it usable as a stand-alone (simple) app?

What is WRONG with Microsoft?
This isn't even in VGA! Year after year, they release a new version of Money for PocketPC and they never do anything to it. It makes me wonder what takes so long.
This really... sucks. I was expecting at LEAST they would make it compatible with VGA displays. Instead it gives me a warning message like every other piece of obselete WM software.

Yes. But it's exactly that - "simple".

Don't get me wrong - it's a capable application which supports a number of neat features, but if you were to put it head-to-head with products such as Spb Finance, WebIS Money, Cash Organiser, etc., then Microsoft Money (for Pocket PC) may seem a bit basic. But it's free - and you can't ask for much more.
