Online retailer doml.com is offering the BenQ P50 for USD $739.99. While I haven't ever purchased from there before, the person who submitted this news reports they have been reputable sellers in the past for him. Looks like this quad-band wonder might be coming to market soon, despite dated stats. But hey, it includes a clock, so what more could you ask for? Personally, I'll save up for the Universal.

I can hardly wait to see this become widely available. I've been waiting for months to pass it up, and soon I'll have the chance decide not to get it. This is wonderful!

This device is such a travesty. I think it has the best exterior of any of the new devices but without EDGE it's a total waste in my eyes.

Well, I'll offer a different perspective...IF they come out with it updated to WM 2005, I'm buying it.

Yeah, it would have to come with WM 5.0 for me to even think about it.

As for Doml: back when 256 MB on a SD card was exceptional, I bought one from them. Great service! On the BenQ P50: my posting history shows this was to be my device. A Treo-like device running Windows Mobile, what more can one want? I'm not so sure I'd want/need WM5 to run on this, since so far WM2003SE does what I want it to do pretty well. But there are currently others out there that might be even more pleasing. So I guess I'll wait....
