Minimo 007 Released: Tab Browsing On PPC
"* This implements NPAPI plugin support * first cut a tab browser interface for PPC * xul progress meter bar in url bar while loading pages * Significant footprint and performance improvements. 75% the size of 006 with no feature loss."
If you're an addict of browsing pages on your PPC, Tabbed browsing is a blessing. While work-arounds exist, personally tab browsing is a must for me. Take Minimo for a spin and let us know what you think.

how do you install?
This sounds and looks great. I went to the link and downloaded it. Opened the zip file and clicked on the exe file. Windows said it wasn't a valid win32 program. So I copied the whole folder to my Program Files on my PDA. Then i clicked on the exe file and the PDA said it was missing some libraries. I would love to try this, if someone could explain how I am supposed to install this.
Thanks

Just copy the entire folder (with all its subfolders!) to a memory card. Works flawlessly so far. Will post a detailed review later - it's certainly worth it (much as it does have problems).

I think this has a long way to go to be considered "worth it"
I'll stick with NF3.2 for the time being

Yup, it does have a lot of problems (doesn't even copy/paste work), but it's not as big a memory hog as the previous versions and is considerably faster. Its page loading speed isn't considerably worse than that of PIE and is even better than that of NF3.2 in standard (non-rapid-render) mode. So, the engine seems to be promising.
I'm just re-running my JavaScript compatibility tests to see how compatible it is.

That's what I did, and my device stalled with the "busy" animation for a very long time. Couldn't seem to get it past that point.

It did the same on my iPAQ 2210 - loaded for at least a minute. Maybe of the (relatively) small amount of free RAM.
On my PL720 (some 80 MByte free RAM), it loaded in 5-6 seconds.

Same problem here. Spent an hour yesterday trying to get it to work. No go.

Strange it doesn't work on a lot of PDA's... it's running pretty OK on my PL720 (and much slower on my 2210 - I may end up hard resetting that because it's already full of unnecessary stuff).
