Default Happy Birthday to Ed Hansberry

http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/r...d=2JZIN6G6CCD3Z

Ed, our resident opinionated flame-bait guy, is having a birthday today. Happy birthday Ed! :bday: I appreciate Ed's contributions to this site a great deal, mostly because the older I get the more mellow I get, while Ed remains just as excitable and opinionated. Ed's been with Pocket PC Thoughts since 2001, so he's been a core part of this since almost since it's inception. If you'd like to show Ed your appreciation for his work, here's his wish list - or you can just use it to have a peek into his psyche. How can anyone who listens to all that mellow female-vocalist music have so much hatred for Bluetooth?

Oh, and I get this when I try to view his wish list:

Yes, a very happy birthday to you!

I always like looking at people's wish list (mostly to see what I would want to get in case I overlooked something :wink, but I'm getting the error message, too. Would you settle for a free copy of Bubble Buster Advanced?

Hats off to you Ed. You are the best at instigating firey debates and keeping us PPCTeers high in all kinds of something or other.

It wouldn't be the same here without you!

Hmm, yeah, both work fine for me too now. Who knows, maybe that Amazon.com programmer was trying something new.

Interesting... NOW it works.

I noticed that the original, posted link:
Code:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/registry.html/103-7161360-8904647?id=2JZIN6G6CCD3Z
pauses on my browser, then turns to:
Code:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/registry.html/104-8110519-5927925?id=2JZIN6G6CCD3Z
Could that have been the problem? I think the long string of numbers is your session ID. In the future, you can just simply give this URL:
Code:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/registry.html?id=2JZIN6G6CCD3Z
I don't know if that loses an affiliate link, but at least it works. Goes the same for some people that post those obnoxiously-long Handango URLs. Cut the 'jid' and practically everything else out except the 'productId' phrase and it'll still work.
