NewsBreak 1.1 Released
Ilium Software has just updated their popular RSS solution, NewsBreak, to v1.1. Enhancements include custom icon support, Today screen support, Windows Mobile 5.0 support, and many other usability improvements and bug fixes. It is a free upgrade for all registered users of NewsBreak 1.x. For everyone else, there's a trial version available from Handango, who also happen to be selling the full version for $14.95. Installing 1.1 over 1.0 erases all of your channels. I guess I'll be spending the rest of the day trying to recreate all those channels.

My upgrade went fine. Did you install it to the same place? Have you manually moved, in options, where your message store goes?

You're right. I pointed the app back to the CF card and it found my channels again.

Newsbreak 1.1 Can it do Podcasts?
Help! I'm new to this RSS/Podcasting thing. I just purchased and downloaded Newsbreak. It seems great as a text RSS aggregator but can it do audio (RSS with enclosures) too? Or do I have to get another aggregator for Podcasts? I've tried a few Podcasts addys in Newsbreak but they did not seem to work. Of couse, I may be doing everything wrong which is causing my difficulty. I'd like to get only one aggregator instead of two to conserve my precious memory. Any advice from you experts out there will be greatly appreciated.
