http://www.clieuk.co.uk/memmaid.shtml

The DLL optimiser is something which I havent really touched. If you enable this, it allows you to move the location of any and all DLL files to, say, your SD-Card, potentially speeding up your PDA. Changing the location appears to be a trial-and-error process, although MemMaid does label certain DLLs: green means safe to move whilst yellow shows that they relate to Today plug-ins (generally best in Main Memory, might work elsewhere).

With older versions (I haven't tested the latest MemMaid in this respect), this (the DLL optimiser) has caused problems even with "green" DLL's (namely, those of Resco File Explorer), which is strange because you can relocate them with manual methods without problems.

Hi,
The green DLLs are DLLs reported by users (like you) to work fine after they get moved.
Looking at the link you posted, Resco Dlls require specific registry changes for their DLLs to work when they are moved.
While MemMaid tries to move DLLs in a generic way (which works with most programs).
We'll take a look at the Resco DLLs and if they don't work we'll remove them from the safe-to-move (green) list.
Thanks for letting us know about that.

That won't be necessary - I've re-tested the latest (1.44) MemMaid version with Resco Explorer 2003 v5.10. The latter has DLL's in the Shared directory - and, therefore, they aren't listed by MemMaid by default - and RFileShell.dll in \Windows, which is also used by some other Resco products; for example, Resco Picture Viewer.
I've tested moving RFileShell.dll (which is also green) to the system path; both Resco Explorer and Resco Picture Viewer continued to work flawlessly after this.
That is, the current MemMaid works OK with Resco products. It must have been a very old version that caused problems and/or a different version of Resco FE.
