pocketMAX releases phoneAlarm 1.22
"pocketMAX has just released the latest version of phoneAlarm - the command central for all PPC Phone devices. Features include: Repeating alarms and escalating sound on new SMS/Email, missed calls & voice messages, 7 Custom Phone profiles with manual / time-based / event based automatic switching, Location-based profile changing, [and] Automatic Call forwarding via profile."
While pocketMax may use stranGER than norMAL casING, this product looks pretty nice for someone who has a PPCPE and wants to use more profile usage than builtin profiles provide (Or get profiles, if your device doesn't even have builtins). The Today Plugin is skinnable, and some pretty sharp skins exist. Take a trial for a spin and if it floats your boat, jump in for $15.95 at Handango [Affiliate Link]

lot of potential, but not perfect (yet)
Have installed the app on my QTEK 9090. Really neat, has a lot of potential. But also caused my QTEK to freeze once in a while . How do I know this? No freezes before, installed the app and had frequent freezes, uninstalled the app and no freezes anymore. Maybe it is the combination of this app and one of the other installed apps, I don't know. But it sure looks good.

OT:
Here's something I've wanted for a very long time: For any developers, end users, anyone that uses a Pocket PC, when that individual/organization provides a screenshot of their Today screen, to provide at least the name of the Today theme in use in that screenshot. And preferably the name of any plugins as well.
That is my rant about the majority of Today screenshots I've seen, sorry for any inconvenience caused

Version 1.26, which I just had to remove from my 6515, was doing the same thing. Too bad because I liked the features.

I'm just doing my part to keep you PPC guys up to date now that I straddle the fence. One leg in Smartphone world, one in the PPC Phone world.
Yeah I was unhappy. I liked that program.
