Default Free eBook Each Day of July From eReader.com

http://www.ereader.com/

I just got my newsletter from eReader this morning and noticed that during July, they will be giving away a different free ebook each day. I suspect like most of their free promotions they are books out of copyright, like something by Dickens. However, they tend to throw in two or three recent releases during the month. You will likely need to open an account with them, which includes giving them a valid credit card number. You won't be charged for the free ebooks, but they will use the credit card number to create a one way hash that will lock the ebook for your use only. If you want to be kept up to date on the books, subscribe to this thread. I will try to post the daily release if someone else doesn't beat me to it. :way to go:

So far I only have one eBook. "Getting Things Done" by David Allen.
I still haven't finished it. ops:

This may be the perfect oppurtunity to expand my library.

I have about 150 - 200 MSReader books ... will be interesting to see if any eReader books that interest me appear for free this month.

I've bought a number of eReader books, along with eReader Pro (their eBook reader), and have a number of their free eBooks. Can't wait to see what they throw up in July for free download!

Heh... I sprang for eReader Pro a few days ago.

I just hope they don't offer Getting Things Done as a free title. as I bought it at the same time.

I just have to start reading it now. That, and the stack of magazines that have been piling up over the last three months.

I don't know if that will be the case. What's the point of giving away free books that are already free to begin with, as is the case with out-of-copyright books? Not much of a promotion

I think they will be commercial, but lesser known titles, with a few "top ten's" thrown in to make it look good.

But I like eReader. Very simple. Just install the app and enter your credit card number when opening up a new book for the first time on that device. No device activation or any crap like that.
