Default WisBar Advance 2.4.0.1 - Language and Pocket PC Phone Support

http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/wisbar/index.html

Lakeridge Software has just released WisBar Advance 2.4.0.1. Some of the key updates includes support for multiple languages and support for Pocket PC Phone devices (the full list of changes can be found here). A Windows Mobile 5.0-compatible version will be made available shortly. As always, all registered WisBar Advance 2.x users can update to this new release for free. If you're a first-time user, you can download a free trial version or purchase the full version for $9.99 from PocketGear. [Affiliate]

That's a heck of a lot of program for 10 bucks. Congrats to Chris on the final release of this latest version!

I put the trial on my 6601....... I used to have WB on all my previous devices.
My only complaint thus far is that hte Start menu is really, really slow after you tap it.
Other than that it is pretty great.

That's actually configurable. Just go into the start menu settings and do the following:

1) Turn on "cache program icons on startup"
2) Turn off "Don't cache background images"

Those two settings should greatly speed up your start menu.

Thanks - Those were some great links with some fresh VGA stuff. I just got a new Dell X50V so I'm really looking for some nice VGA skins

Yeah I've been using it for years and it is really great but it seems that there is a problem there somewhere since the repainting of my X50V screen is also pretty slow including the menu dropdown.

I only have my X50V 1-1/2 months so I figured that I didn't have something configured correctly and I'll fix it over time. Setting up the pda might still be the problem and not the software though.

my start menu is really slow the first time i tap it after i change something in the today settings or do a soft reset. after that, it has a chance to cache the things ive told it to in settings. but its reaaaaly slow the first time.

also, occasionally, the expanded menus under 'settings' dont function correctly.

not exactly asking for help, just posting
