I'm On The Top Of The World, Geeking Down On Creation
"Grania Willis, equestrian correspondent at the Irish Times, has sent email messages and digital images capturing her bid to become the first Irish woman to climb the north side of Mount Everest...Grania is supplied with an HP iPAQ hx4700, connecting to the Internet via a mobile satellite uplink to the Thuraya satellite positioned 22,000 miles above the Earth."
Pardon the Carpenters Reference in the post title, but this is pretty cool. While her bid to become the first Irish woman at the top might be a bit biased toward PPCs (HP Ireland is a sponsor) It's nice to know that, geographically, our PPCs are on top!

What I find amazing is that the device can stand the temperatures! Very cool! Someone should send her an email to find out what apps she's using on the device...

There's huge potential here for one of the Sportsdo products. Pity there's no Climbdo (yet).
