Introducing the moboDA 3360

Over the past few hours, Mobile01 has turned into a hotbed of news for new devices on show at Computex. We've had a brief look at a couple of new Windows Mobile 5.0-powered devices so far. Well, here's another one! AnexTEK's moboDA 3360 is a Pocket PC Phone which appears to have an Intel PXA272 520MHz processor, 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, a 65K-colour 2.8" QVGA screen, GSM/GPRS - Tri-Band, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 1.2, 1.3MP camera, an SD slot, and a 1300mAh Li-Ion Polymer battery. Interestingly, this device lacks a QWERTY keyboard, and incorporates a numpad instead. All these new devices makes me want to pack my bags and head over to Taiwan right about now!
Update: A couple of new pictures of the moboDA 3360 have arrived. Read on for a glimpse!

Thanks to ePrice for the pictures.

Ther specs are right on the money but the size looks a bit large for something built around a 2.8" screen.
Looks more like a 3.5" screen. Especially in the shot next to the HP63xx.

Nah it looks like a 2.8 incher to me. It's just that the keypad makes it look big.

I think this device ROCKS! I would seriously consider buying one of these... It would be a tough choice between this and the next generation iMATE.

I managed to dig up some information on dimensions and weight if any of you are interested: 123mm x 61.5mm x 22mm at 150g.
For comparison's sake, here are dimensions and weight of the i-mate JAM: 108mm x 58mm x 18.1mm at 150g.

So far, the front-runner looks the iMate Atom IF it comes with SD.

Well, it's actually the O2 Xda Atom. We've still to hear whether i-mate has plans to release a similar device. If not, and if your region tends not to sell O2 devices, then it could come down to a pricey import... but the Atom is sweet, so it's probably worth it.
