Default Labit Release Visual Developer Suite 1.1b

http://www.labitweb.com/pocketpc_controls_vds.aspx

The Labit controls are fully custom-drawn so you can apply a wide variety of styles to your application interface. The suite consists of 29 controls ranging from nice looking alternative to common controls like the button and checkbox to more advanced controls such as the ComboTree. The controls have full design support within Visual Studio.

Looks slick. I just downloaded it and fooled around some with it some. I'll try it out some more when I get home from work. I don't do much of any PPC development so I don't know what to expect or compare it to so I'll just hang around and see what some of the other guys have to say about it.

Yes, this is pretty slick. I've been meaning to develop a customized billing application for my business and have been frustrated with the software available to do this. This is the first application I am considering to do this... Looks good.

The initial cost is not bad at all and for another $50 you can have the source if you need. But I couldn't make out the upgrade path and cost. They need some work on organizing the pages and info on their site.

How often will a major update be coming out. While the subscription route is the best way to go when available will there be patch support without subscription? The sourcecode would be very intersting to buy and look into 8)

Major updates comming out in three months, this year we have done

Hey Everyone,

Labit just sent the editorial team notice that version 1.1 is now out, so if you've been using these, you may want to head over to their site and check out the 1.1 release, as I'm assuming it's an updated form of 1.1b (b= beta?)

Jon.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been hoping that there would be a little more activity on this thread. Maybe it will pick up. I really don't develop for the PPC but would love to join in on a thread with some people who do. This seems like a nice product too.
