3D Volleyball with Resco Seal Ball 1.01
"Resco, a leading provider of end-user mobile applications, today announced availability of a new VGA game, Resco Seal Ball v1.01. Resco Seal Ball v1.01 is a simplified beach volleyball simulator. On a sandy beach two seals battle it out with a ball that someone forgot on the beach. One player is computer controlled, the other one is human controlled. During the game the ambient light changes, as the day passes by from dawn to dusk. The skill level of your computer opponent gradually increases, providing hours of fun straight. The game is presented in high-quality pre-rendered 3D graphics with VGA resolution."
How... cute. Resco Seal Ball has some great 3D graphics, and since it supports VGA, I'm willing to bet that this game would look stunning on the X50v. If you're interested, Handango have a trial version on offer, and the game can be purchased for $14.95. For those of you who have given this a go, feel free to tell us how well it looks on your Pocket PC, and what the overall "fun factor" is. [Affiliate]

Why should it look any better on the X50v than any other VGA device?
Regardless, i'll give the trial a whirl, and report back

There is a development group at Resco with wayyyyyyyyyyy too much time on their hands!
I don't have a VGA device to test this on, but I can tell from the pics and the description that they have done a lot of work on the quality of the graphics. I applaud them for striving to make full use of the VGA screen and 3D graphics for an application.
However, I think the simplicity of 1 on 1 volleyball will SEAL this games fate.

Looks like a polished version of a flash game I played ayear or so ago - crab ball.
Only with seals. And no crabs.

Uhh...if they made a PPC version of Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball, I would probably consider buying it.
