Axim Deal of the Week: X50v with Extra Battery for $405USD
Here's a pretty nifty deal: get an X50v with 624MHz processor and extra battery for $405 with free shipping. For those of you who've been eyeing a X50v but dreading the cost of an additional battery, this sounds like a pretty good deal. Note the deal expires Wednesday, so make sure to decide soon.

Very tempting! Ive click on the link three times now and then changed my mind to stay with my little X3i. Can someone give me a good reason not to get this? Should I wait until the next version of Microsofts OS?

I've got the Dell Axim x30i - not as flashy on the multimedia but has the 624MHz processor and 64MB of RAM (Bluetooth, 802.11b, yadda yadda yadda) and it is awesome...until the 50v comes down in price a bit more...the x30i is the best PPC bargain on the planet.

Not extended
Good deal but this battery is not the extended battery. My extended battery is 2200 mAh but the battery in this deal is the standard 1100 mAh.

Must resist...! Must resist...!
I've been wanting one of these since they were released as a stock, review device.
I may wait a while longer to see if the price comes down any more. I also want to get one of the iPAQ Messengers, too...

If you add it to the cart then click adjust item you can change your options and still get the discount. Such as changing it from the standard to the extended battery.

Extended Battery
I've never seen an x50v with the extended battery.
What does it do to the form factor? Is there a bulge in the back?
Does anyone have a picture?

It's about twice as thick, and has a different battery cover... So yeah, there's a bulge.
But some people like it
