Pocket UFO in Beta
A Pocket PC remake of the popular classic, "X-Com: Enemy Unknown", is in the making and is now available for download as a beta release. With nine diverse landscapes, eleven types of enemies and over forty different weapons, it sure looks like a lot of fun. The home page is in Russian, but even if you don't understand a word of it, it's not hard to navigate your way around and find the download link. If you manage to give this game a spin, be sure to let everyone know what you think.

Just tried installing it to a memory card, and its totally not working.
The screen flashes, and then dumps me back to my today screen.
11MB is a little steep to throw into RAM, so I'm hoping thats not the problem...

Well, I, too put it on a storage card - it started up on my hx4700 but only using the top left corner (VGA issue I guess) so I tried tapping the screen and it goes to a world map of some sort, but I couldn't do anything else...
Soft Reset, remove all files 
Looked cool too

Sadly, it does not work for me either. It only displays a scrollable map in the top left corner and music played until I soft reset my X50v to get out of the program.
I do hope this will work in proper VGA mode when it is out.........

The first work on this was a PalmOS version 2 years or so ago. AFAIK, that version never became even close to stable enough to really play. This PPC beta version first popped up around June of last year, with no release date announced or in sight. (A PalmOS version is supposed to be done right after that, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for either one.) They have some copyright problems, and have publicly said that they won't sell/release it without the CR holder's permission. (Is that Infogrames/Atari now?)

works fine with my Hp ipaq 2215. I can't find the manual though, I'm familiar with xcom - ufo but the interface does't help much.
