Pocket Informant 2005 Released
"Pocket Informant replaces your built in Contacts / Calendar / Tasks applications with more powerful, yet simple, full featured versions along with cool additions in one fully integrated application. This means that we sync with Outlook and ActiveSync, or third party Sync solutions. Your data is preserved."
Pocket Informant 2005 is here, and as usual, there are a wad of new features that need exploring. Handango is offering a trial version of the application if you're interested in trying out one of the major PIMs out there. If it's to your liking, you can purchase the full version for $29.95. PI 2005- Yay!
I for one am going to upgrade this AM! PI has been the first application I install on each PPC I have owned, and is by far the one I use most often through my day. I could not imagine staying organized without it and with each unpgrade have found significant useable improvements.
THANKS ALEX- YOU MADE MY DAY!
Carl

I've gone to their site but can't find the process for upgrading. Is there a specific link to use?

there's a couple mentions of "TV" in the feature list - what does that mean?

I missed that fact that 2005 was on the end of the line for versions above the registration code entry field.

*I think* this refers to the new timelines view that PI 2005 offers, allowing you to horizontally view your agenda split by categories with timelines, pretty cool (but I might be wrong ops: I still didn't had a chance to play with it my self... on my way...).

hey amit nice to see you here... i've been looking for a reason to switch from AF to the new PI (they seem to be more aggressive w/ their development etc.)... hard to find a real differentiator (sp?) though.

They've used this abbreviation in the past, before the Timeline View was introduced, so I think it refers to Tasks View.
