NewsMonger 0.31 Beta - RSS on the Pocket PC
Here comes another RSS reader for the Pocket PC. NewsMonger 0.31 Beta supports a wide variety of RSS specifications, categories, OPML, and VGA (note that landscape is not yet supported). .NET Compact Framework SP3 is required, although more details on that can be found at the NewsMonger webpage. Let us know your thoughts if you manage to give this free application a go.

I like it!
Unlike RSS Sync, NewsMonger can update your feeds over the Internet and it supports images. Looking at some of the things the developer has planned I think this will be a serious threat to commercial products like Egress.

In defense of the author of egress, I wouldnt count it out just yet. Shortly after buying a license, i contacted the author to let him know of 3 or 4 major things i would like to see in egress to make it easier to use, and more robust for image support and viewing, and inside of 2 months he has now released a new version with everything i asked for and lots more that other people had requested. with support like that I think egress has a very good future ahead of it.

This is a nice little program. Can anyone suggest some good RSS feeds to subscribe to? I don't have enough news to read!
