MediaPass Launches a New Music Video Download Service
"MediaPass(R) Network LLC is launching today a new music video download service for Windows Mobile-based devices, making it possible to watch music videos on portable handheld devices wherever you go. The music video services, announced at the year's premier music industry event, South by Southwest 2005, will deliver videos that can be played back on Windows Mobile-based Portable Media Centers and select Smartphones and Pocket PCs."
I gave this a bit of a spin over a Wi-Fi connection a few hours ago and found it to be quite good. Since the service is relatively new, the range of artists isn't huge, but hopefully this will increase in the near future. If you're a bit of a music buff, I'm sure you'd appreciate what's on offer, so check it out here if you're interested. A copy of the press release can be found here.

Meh... I downloaded one of the videos. I tried to open it WMP10 and it asked me to create an account. I then promptly deleted the video without creating the account.

You know, I've accessed this site quite a few times, and not once have I been asked to create an account. I've managed to view every video fine without problems. I'm not sure why it's not causing problems for me, yet it is for others. :?
