PocketPT Reviews 3rd-Party HTC Magician Cradle
"In general, this lightweight, resistant cradle does his job, charging and synchronizing the Pocket PC. For those userss that already had a Pocket PC with a docking station and now have a Qteks S100 the dockingstation may be interested in this accessory since they were used to see their Pocket Pc next to the PCs monitor. But if you are a new Pocket PC user and dont care about having the Qtek S100 lying on the table this isnt a must have accessory."

I'm a big fan of cradles, as it allows one to connect and disconnect a Pocket PC from a computer with just one hand. That said, I'm not sure I want a cradle with a death-blue light like this -- it almost hurts my eyes just looking at the picture. 8O Nevertheless, if you're a HTC Magician owner, there aren't many choices on the market, so take a look at the review and keep electrical tape handy if necessary. (Note that the review is in both Portuguese and English; scroll down for the English version.)

I agree about the light.
Imagine sitting this on your nightstand trying to use it as and alarm clock. 8O
I have the same problem with my e830 stand. As it is I have to keep it in the other room when I'd rather keep it handy.
I may have to breakdown and pick up some black electrical tape.

Hi there, if you think the light is too strong, it's because of the picture environment, i used flash and short distance to the cradle. as you can see in the picture below, my mousepad has 4 led's which are more powerfull, let's say it's an illusion ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

I just used a modified spare cover of an iPod 40GB cradle. It fit perfectly, and best of all, it looks awesome sitting next to my iPod.

Hey yanathin,
Could you take a picture of what you're talking about with the modified spare ipod cradle? I'm looking to make a cheap diy JAM cradle...
