Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy PPC Phone Interface
"When you press hardware arrow keys: up/down it will display more or less information: today date, today weather conditions (if you have installed MY|WEATHER), last phone calls, last SMS message (with ot without the text: tap the message title), last email messages (from up to 5 independent email accounts you have in Outlook) "
JGUI has a new applet out that's essentially an interface for Pocket PC Phones for the H2G2 geeks amongst you. Too bad I'm not carrying a Pocket PC Phone around right now.

HG2G: for non-phone device
I confirm,
I added a second version for ordinary PPC (without phone service).
I just cut-off phone features from the code inside.
But have no time to play with such a device, just because it's a small gadget-like application for fun (read descriptions what's happen).
Althought I hope it's running ok.
If somebody reported me a problems with non-phone deivices, I promise I will go into deeper tests directly in my IPAQ. Week or two.

I remember reading a Douglas Adams interview where he said he hated that face/planet-with-tongue image that is commonly associated with HGTG in the US, didn't create it himself and didn't know where it came from

"face/planet-with-tongue"
I thought, this is: planet-with-thumb 'up
like the common sign of all hitchhikers.
Probably there is no connection with ideao of the book.
But this sign was born for the movie (please correct me, if I miss something).

I like this one better JGUI. It doesn't work on my X50v though.
I get a message saying "Cannot find "THG2TG' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and all required libraries are available.
