JGUI, makers of the MY|TODAY collection of Today plug-ins have just updated their collection with MY|WEATHER. Main features include the display of current weather conditions, upcoming forecasts, as well as support for satellite images. Handango are offering a trial version of this application, and if it's to your liking, you can grab it for $17.99. [Affiliate]

The "Quietest" icon is quite subtle.

I have tried a number of these weather plug ins (currently trying to decide between the weather display in Journal Bar, which I use anyway for the news feeds, and spb Weather. I love having the weather info on my today screen, but hae generally found the forecast sources to be a bit "US centric" and not great for Ireland or Australia -the two countries that interest me.

Still this certanly "looks" nice so no doubt i wull give it a go!

Looks nice in the screenshots, but does not work on my x50v. Appears to be a screen refresh issue or something.

Default satellite views

and by the way:

the version with satellites previews are almost ready to go. See belowe example (I'm sorry, but they drew there only "London" but not Dublin etc.)

You can scroll this sat.preview to your much preffered location. Or you can display a whole image on the top of screen for the moment. In the latest version I added zoom in/out features and a small icon to pop-up the sat.preview on the top right from the minimized one-line weather report.

If you let me know any free satellite preview images for Australia, I will try to include this feature too.

Now only Eurosat and Usasat are available. And it offers last 10 images to the animated preview of clouds moving. What's I like much.
