Default Palm Finally Does Full Blown Multitasking

For years, Palm/Palm Source/pa1mOne/133t h/\x0r5 have claimed Palm devices can do multitasking like a Pocket PC, but the truth is, there is always some limit. I can, if I so desire, download a web page, sync email, sync my RSS feeds, listen to music, have a Windows Terminal Server session open and copy data from various contact fields into an email message never having to lose my place or have an app I am switching between take me back to the main view. You can't do that on a Palm. The multitasking is different, the details of which have been expounded upon many times in these pages, so I'll spare you the details.

Now though, a device is on the way, one that allows full blown multitasking! Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Palm Cosmetic Kit.

Now you can drive, put on your makeup, chat with all of your girlfriends and surf radio stations! No more having to stop one to do the other. You can get one for $4.99 and true to Palm's history, the exact same thing comes in a variety of colors! Red, blue, purple and what seems to be three shade of silver. I'll call them Tungsten Silver, Zire Silver and Claudia Schiffer Silver.

On Friday afternoons, we usually do one humorous "off-topic" post. At least several Contributing Editors found it funny.
