Default Mistral Announces Next-Gen PDA Reference Platform

http://www.eetimes.com/showArticle....icleID=59301463

"Mistral Software, a Bangalore-based product realization firm, has announced the launch of its PDA reference platform, code-named Sunada, built around Texas Instruments' OMAP5912 and OMAP1611 processors. Exemplifying the convergence of multiple functions in a single device, the integrated and customizable PDA design will harness the true potential of mobile computing, the company said. The device provides multiple applications such as GSM phone, navigation, digital audio, gaming, organizer, e-learning, video, Internet access, VoIP, VGA camera and Jukebox."

Looks like Mistral builds CE.NET platforms, but I'd love to see how Windows Mobile runs on top of it.

I'd probably be more interested if this reference design didn't use slow TI OMAP processors in it. Both processors mentioned max out at about 200 Mhz. After using the 6315 for a while, I can't imagine how slow VGA will be if run on one of these processor.
