"TeleSym has announced support for the Symbol MC50 enterprise digital assistant (EDA) with its SymPhone solution. The SymPhone solution allows employees to make and receive secure calls over a corporate wired/wireless LAN or via the Internet. Incorporating both patent pending call quality technology and RSA security features, SymPhone also extends the enterprise PBX to mobile workers and professionals."



Symbol's MC50 always was designed with Voice over IP in mind, so this is a natural development. Using these you can blanket your buildings/campus with wifi and you have ubiquitous data, and now also secure voice calls straight to your Pocket PC. On a more prosaic note, does anyone else think those all black Pocket PCs look *really* good?

Black is always good. The HTC Blue Angel in black is very very yummy!

I would take a black, scuff proof ppc over the usual silver painted plastic any day.
