2 Many Txt Msgs Bad 4 Yr Health, Italian Docs Say
http://au.news.yahoo.com/050124/15/sq64.html
"Excessive text messaging may be bad for you, or at least for your fingers. That's what some Italian doctors think. They are telling people, particularly the young, that furious typing on mobile phones could lead to acute tendonitis."

One of the many things I really like about the Pocket PC Phone Edition is SMS with a stylus.

Stylus input is way way worse than T9 for me. Loathe it, hate it, detest it! No keyboard, no sale!

Or, the plain Pocket PC
My wife is also keen on sending SMS messages. She is quite adept at using the stylus with the on-screen keyboard. Of course, it can't match the speed of my StowAway BT keyboard

I can confirm we're pretty crazy about SMS here, especially the young ones, so no surprise about potential tendonitis... what a bad habit IMO!

I guess I'm just an old fart, 36, but I've never understood the big deal with Text. If I can take the time to text then why not just place a call?

It's cheaper in the short run...
In the long run however, it's funny seeing people send around 10 messages back and forth just so their "conversation" makes sense. The cost of that many SMS messages tends to be more than a call itself.

That "finding" reminds me of when Norm MacDonald used to do Weekend Update on Saturday Night Live: "...from the pages of "Duh" Magazine..."
