Yesterday we posted about the new 6 GB miniature hard drive from Western Digital. Well here's a picture:

 Nice one.
And despite the fact that my Pocket PC lacks a CF slot, I still want one. :P

The 512MB SD Card (for which I paid way too much 2 years ago) in my hx4700 feels suddenly so... inadequate. ops:
I wonder what the battery life will be like compared to the other brands? I suspect there will be some interesting benchmarks over the next few months!

I'd probably get one if my X30 had a CF slot... :? :? :?

Uffffffffff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was looking for something useful to put into the CF slot of my 2210 since the plastic cover was lost some time ago, so I think I'll give this a try.
Seems there's still play-ground for CF.

I'm with darius on this one! My current PPC and digicam doesn't support CF but I still want one! I did see an interesting car-fm tuner which can play via a card reader though so there may be other things I can put it in :P

I still prefer my 4GB CF card. While I've never had any problems with a microdrive, I just don't trust them long term.

I'm waiting for the Sandisk CF Ultra II 8GB to come down in price from the current $700. I like my 4GB microdrive, but the battery on the X50v is lacking when using the microdrive.

I got hooked on CF innocently when I bought a Kodak DC3400 camera using CF, god knows how many years ago. Then when I bought my Axim X5 I thought "Cool! I can just move the CF from camera to PPC..." Now I've got 512MB in each of the X5 slots, CF and SD. And obviously most of the X50V users now see the wisdom of having both. When Jason comes up with a contest with this baby as the prize - there'll be a flood of entries.
