Default The Symbol MC3000 - It's a Powerful Thing!

http://www.symbol.com/products/mobi...bile_cmptr.html

"The MC3000 from Symbol Technologies is a lightweight, rugged mobile computer ideal for scan-intensive environments that require high-quality data capture throughout the enterprise. Its superior ergonomic design and flexible configurations facilitate faster decision making and increased workforce satisfaction inside the retail store, on the loading dock or on a delivery route."

The Symbol MC3000 is fitted with some serious hardware that's sure to impress! It has a 320x320 colour display, an Intel PXA270 520MHz processor, integrated 802.11b/g, USB (host/client) and 1D/2D scanning functionality. It's also based on Windows CE .NET 4.2. This mobile device isn't exactly pocket-sized but what more do you expect from a rugged device? ;-)

320 x 320? Seriously? I thought that the only square resolutions 2003 SE supported were 240 x 240 and 480 x 480.

Edited to finish my sentence.

Woah, I like the features in this one. I also like the icon setup on the device; it looks like Windows 98. USB host, square screen, G wireless, fast CPU, rugged....what else can you ask for? (ahem, size? :mrgreen

This is not a Windows Mobile device (2003 or any other version). It is a Windows CE-based device, which can have whatever resolution the OEM wants.
Same goes for the Windows style shell - that comes from CE.
