Default Riverland, The Tribe Screensavers Updated

Handy Entertainment makes two amazing screensavers: "Riverland" and "The Tribe", and both have been updated. Riverland features more complex animations and scenarios, and both now feature sounds.

Riverland 2 costs $4.95 and Tribe costs $6.95, or you can get both for $9.95. If you cradle and leave your Pocket PC on frequently, you should definitely be checking these two out.

Riverland is not yet VGA and still shows as a square.

I would assume the same for The Tribe.

For the life of me, I have no idea how to "set up" this app. How do I set the screensaver functions? All I can do is run the app by clicking on it. There are no directions for use.

I can change the "time" effect and the volume, but thats it.

Any clues?

Last time I played with these I recall it used PocketCandy a screen saver app. I thought that downloaded with the Riverland SCR but could also be found on their site. That is what handles the screen saver part and you need the Riverland or Tribes bits in the PocketCandy directory.

I though they were cute, but there is useful info on my screen even when it is docked and wartching them becomes a bit addictive.

To fully utilize screensaver capabilities and allow auto-launch, install PocketCandy screensaver manager by running "PocketCandy.exe" on your PC. It is strongly recommended to install PocketCandy to the default directory in the main memory.

You do need to use pocket Candy. A google search for it will bring it up too.

Even after the update, the analog clock won't appear in the Tribe on my hx4705, but otherwise it works well. It is still just a square, though and only functions in portrait mode. In landscape mode the Tribe appears in portrait (square) format and without the clock.

VGA is must. I may have to get this for my 4700. And maybe my palm too.
