iPAQ h6300 Series Rhinoskin Aluminum Hardcase from Saunders
"Keep Your h6300 Fully Protected Everywhere You Go. Features our new electroplate smooth aluminum finish, unique swivel-opening design allows cover to fold back behind case when open. Allows access to all function buttons, including keypad, while inside the case, with cutouts provided for speaker, camera, headphone jack, audio connector, reset button, SD card slot & stylus. The padded interior absorbs vibration and provides a nice, snug fit, while the large, clear front cover allows for great visibility."

Got an iPAQ 6300? Protect it - Saunders makes excellent cases. I have one of their Dell X50 cases, and it's very well-designed. This iPAQ case is $34.95 USD, and they have a free shipping offer on right now.

Wow, that's really sweet. Would it be too much to ask that they come out with one for the imate JAM?

That case makes the 6300 look better than it would without it!
Lovely work. The first hard case I would actually think of purchasing.

Nice idea and a good looker, but for those of you that haven't seen a Vaja case on the 63xx, I really suggest it. I never knew what the big deal was about the Vaja cases until I ordered one for my 6315. I could stare at the case all by itself 8O

FINALLY! A company designs a hardcase that doesn't open to the right. This case looks perfect. I wish they would design one for the 4355; it would make using the keyboard much easier.

That is a sweet looking case, no doubt, and I agree that hard aluminum is the best way to protect a PPC, but aluminum cases are bad news for Phone Edition devices. I had one for my i-mate and whenever the device was in the case, reception was cut in half. The aluminum just doesn't allow a very strong signal through. :?

Except that the iPAQ 6315 has an external antenna that protrudes through the case, so I'd expect there to be little-to-no effect.

That case is absolutely gorgeous... almost enough to make me get a 63xx
Two questions, for owners of similar cases:
1) How easy is it to fully open the case (cover folded under)?
2) How usable is the unit with the case opened, both in-hand and on-table?
Even if the answers were "you need Vice-Grips" and "wrist cramp in 5 seconds", I think I'd still consider it.

I don't know, my brother has an XDA I and he experiences similar problems. The signal just drops when it's in the case. Now that being said, I probably still would buy a metal case because it's just the best protection...period. Plus, that case just looks cool.
