Amazon Selling iPAQ rz1715 For $199
Looks like the price on the rz1715 is dropping like a stone. It's a completely no-frills unit, but if you're looking for something simple, it might not be a bad choice.
Anyone tempted, or have they been eyeing other Pocket PCs in the price range? [Affiliate]

Almost there. Drop it to $99 and you have a good entry level PIM only (well almost.) Pocket PC.

Sub $150
I'm still bitter about the discontinued 1945's.
Price drops are good, but I agree this needs to keep falling. If they could sell it for anything below $150, then I think we would truly have an "Entry" level PPC, comparable to the Palm Zire.
For $200, I still expect some frills.

The 1945 is still available (refurbished) for pretty cheap. I picked one up from hpshopping.com for a little over $200, and the pricegrabber has a couple of less well-known dealers selling it for ~$180.

I would still get a T|E over rz1715. Honestly I doubt I will ever be willing to pay for this unit even after another $100 drop. Using a PocketPC with 32MB RAM just scares me off.

HP has got to be kidding...
I agree with others here -- It "might" be worth $100, tops...
