VirtualDisp: Twice As Nice!
"This program will let you use the screen of your PC and the screen of your Pocket PC as if they were connected to the same computer."

If you've ever experimented with the dual-display concept on PCs, you will know how VirtualDisp works. I'm not sure how useful it will be, but the idea of this software is "cool" to say the least. You can grab a trial version or purchase the full version for $9.99 at Handango. Anybody out there think they will use this? [Affiliate]

if it works, and if activsync is able to stay connected long enough to make it worthwhile . . .
this will be my news best friend to replace transcreative remote keyboard. (which i used by moving its program window over to the edge of the screen so i can barely see it)
sounds like this will save me a little bit of effort
Woo Yay for progress!
what would be truely sweet, is if it let you use your ppc as a second display for windows actually drag windows over to it so you can have some things always viewable or what not.
Edit: Alas, evil sadness is mine..

I have used it at work to keep my MSN Messenger on my iPAQ to avoid annoying pop ups while I am working. I love it. It is a great way to quickly enter data into my pda and it even works through activesync using a bluetooth connection.

Not quite. MS RemDisp and rCE and other remote control software actually transmit the contents of the PPC screen to the desktop. That really slows down operation. But apps like Virtual Disp and my favorite (PocketPC Connector) actually provide direct mouse and keyboard support for PPCs without transmitting screen data. This results in very responsive actions and makes them highly useful.

It's most likely a result of the problems being experienced with the Handango store as pointed out in the news post made by Jason. Try downloading it again over the next few days.

It uses the dual-display concept. So if you've ever had two graphic cards on your computer before, and connected your monitor, you may be familiar with the idea that you can scroll your mouse off one screen and make it appear on the other, so your screen space is effectively enlarged. This programs uses the same concept.
