Have any RF connectors laying around? You could make your own chess set with them.

This looks like a chess set you'd buy at a Head shop...

Now that's a chess set I wouldn't mind having... some people just seem to be able to think outside the box better than others...

I've always wanted to make a set from various salt and pepper shakers. Saw one long ago. You fill them to denote the two sides.

Geeky Chess Set
I think this is awesome. I don't play chess but I like unusual chess sets. I have a nice one. If I dust and move the pieces, I don't where to put them backso I lift, dust and put the piece back in the same position.

At first, this appeared like it was made from precious metals or something but then I looked closer. I have a nice glass chess set and I really like playing that but I don't play chess very often.

That's awesome. I guess I'm a big geek because that's one of the coolest chess sets I've seen. (Not that I'm a chess set aficionado.)
