Default Sprint PCS Now Listing Audiovox PPC6601 On Business Site

http://www.sprint.com/business/prod...llPcsPhones.jsp

If you've been waiting to get an updated Pocket PC Phone on Sprint, now's your chance -- at least, for those of you going through business channels. We mentioned the press release last week, and finally Sprint is listing the Audiovox PPC6601 (otherwise known as the HTC Harrier) on their business site. It's not cheap, though: the list price is $629. Hopefully it'll get cheaper when it's offered through consumer channels.

This is one of the few Sprint phones with Bluetooth. There's been speculation that Sprint would cripple this functionality, but Brighthand seems to suggest otherwise. If any of you get your hands on this phone, make sure to report back and let us know how it works. 8)

Actually you can order the phone through standard TeleSales already as well, it seems. And some stores have the phone in stock but not out yet. You have to ask for it.

I have been waiting for it for a year, and might wait a little longer to hear what the story is on it first.

Reread the post. Current thinking suggests it's unlikely they will remove BT.

Yeah...

Is T-Mobile going to carry this thing? If so, when is it going to show up on Amazon. I think I have another year to go on my Sprint contract

YEA......SCREW THE MAJORITY!!!!

Just to show that crusty conservatives and loose liberals CAN find consensus, I couldn't agree with you more that BOTH Wifi AND Bluetooth should be included and untamperred with on this device

Now, best we self correct and stay on topic before a moderator reminds us to.

Too late! Please stay on topic. And you know that posting about anything "political" is a no-no...
