Default Phone Scoop's CTIA Report, Part 2

http://www.phonescoop.com/articles/.../index.php?p=mo

Rich Brome posted part two of his CTIA report yesterday, and that includes several interesting tidbits about the i-Mate product lineup. First, the i-Mates will be supported in the USA soon: "Typically, HTC devices are brought to market by carriers. So when no U.S. carrier picks up a particular HTC model, it can sometimes be hard for U.S. consumers to locate, and a version for GSM 850 networks might not even be produced. For fans of Windows Mobile, this can sometimes be frustrating...The exciting news is that i-mate is now officially expanding to the U.S.; they're currently in the process of establishing a U.S. headquarters in California. They will be trying to forge relationships with U.S. carriers, and also offering HTC devices to consumers through more direct channels."

 And check out this picture of the incredibly tiny HTC Magician device, aka i-Mate JAM:

 Impressive stuff, and looks like we'll be able to get it here in North America much more easily soon!

Very nice devices!!, I just got last week the PDA2k, wich replaces my p900 and my O2 XDAII, the hardware is amazing, but I think Microsoft needs to work in a more reliable, and useful Phone Operating system.

Wow, it's tiny! I'm in love!

(I'm beginning to realise I'm an idiot. I'm 6'3" with massive hands and have to mail-order shoes to get the right size. Yet I keep buying small things. I've a tiny mobile phone which is a nightmare to tap keys on. I've got an iPaq 2215 which is a nightmare to play games on. I have 3 mini/barebone PCs which are great. I want the credit-card sized Canon Powershot Ixus 40, but I know its far too tiny for my fingers. Argh. Rant out.)

FINALLY!

Looking seriously at that i-JAM device; seeing that smartphone are on the MniSD form factor and the i-JAM is a PPCPE w/SD and bluetooth this might be the way to go....

Anyone needs a h4150 and Moto V300?
