I just got my own copy of Visual Studio .NET 2003. Is there anything else (software-wise, etc.) that I need to get started in developing mobile apps?

And what's the deal with Visual Studio .NET 2005? Will that be available soon? Has Microsoft mentioned what the primary differences will/might be between the two versions?

MS have a Pocket PC 2003 SDK that you may be interested in.

You may be interested in checking out the VS2005 Beta page here. It keeps you well informed on all the latest builds and what there is to know about the new version.
