OK, so why only the C2 for the X50v? The screen sizes aren't different between the X50 models are they?

The screen sizes are different. The X50v is 3.7" while the X50 is 3.5".

The main reason the anti-glare AG protector is not available for the X50v is more likely to be due to its interaction with the smaller pixels on the VGA screen. The texture, although fine for QVGA may not work well in VGA.

Has anyone tried the C2 on a VGA PDA? I'm looking for a protector for my X50v which should land this week, and need something better than a cut down 3 year old iPaq protector...

Darn Jason, why do you have to post this stuff - I just dropped $80 at PPC Techs...

Thankfully, we have that wonderful subscriber discount.

Hmm, I didn't realize that. Guess I didn't really pay attention to the screen size in my ordering decision. Now I'm looking forward to mine even more. More pixels and more real estate.

Yes, they are two different sizes.

We've had reports of pixelation issues with the AG (anti-glare) WS and VGA screens. I've tried it on a 4700 and an e805 and it looks fine to me. I've tried different type settings, different pictures, etc, but don't see an issue.

We can release the AG version also, if someone can verify whether there is an issue or not.

I know on the e800 it was at the hi-res settings.

Sven, if you want to set it out, I can trim a couple of AG WS for your dell x50v and send you them as well as the C2 to do some testing for us. Send me an email if interested.
