Default Pocket PC VoIP Client Round-Up

http://www.bostonpocketpc.com/modul...rticle&sid=2539

"Well now that we have Wi-Fi, we can check our e-mail, browse the web, grab streaming media and other things but have you ever thought about using your pocket pc as a phone? Think about it, youre stuck somewhere, perhaps a convention hall with lacking cellular service but abundant Wi-Fi, thats when you pull out your pocket pc, fire up o*ne of many VoIP programs and be the envy of everyone trying to find a better signal o*n their cellphone"

That_Kid of bostonpocketpc has written an excellent summary of all the available VoIP solutions currently available. There were a few apps listed that I hadn't heard of, so if you're interested in using your Pocket PC as a phone, you should definitely check this out.

I have (unsucessfully) some time ago tried to use my iPAQ 5450 to connect via my IConnectHere VoIP.

My experience is that X-phone doesnt work on the 5450 and that SJPhone is too expensive (100$). Now I see that SJPhone is available for free download??
