Yes, there's a new Windows Mobile 2003 Phone Edition Pocket PC on the block. The DP900 PDA specs include: GSM 900/1800/1900MHz GPRS Class 10, 300MHz CPU, 64Mb Rom, 64Mb RAM, 3 inch 240 x 320 resolution, SD/MMC slot (SDIO), 262K colour TFT screen, 1100 mAh Battery, Rotatable CMOS Camera VGA type(180). It weighs 150g and apart from the swivel camera, it's other party trick is the ability to charge the onboard battery from another battery without switching the unit off. Could come in handy of you are in the middle of a (long) important call I suppose. You can find the full brochure at the Dallab website.

Let me be the first one to say. YAWN. Lame speed, lame memory, lame speed. Other than that is looks ordinary, in every other aspect. NEXT!!! Show me 600MHz, 128 MB and VGA and you got something that will be interesting.

The only thing relatively new here is the 262K screen.

150 grams = 5.3zoz... I might be wrong on this, but this is the lightest all in one to date. That is... if it is available now.
This is lighter than my iPaq rx3700!

Bill,
How do you know its thick? If you have the dimension, could you post it? I could find no dimensions for the unit. Do you know what they are?
The weight is very light!

HOwdy,
I think the ability to change the battery while it is in use is important. That is a feature I could use in my current cell phone and future ppc purchase. I use mine for grad school and for work, so it would come in handy. It may not just be about long conversations, but also about many conversations (calls) during the day. My car charger recently went out a few days ago, and I still have not replaced it, but my cell phone has gone dead twice since then. The nice feature of replacing the battery while still on a call would be great for me.

It has a 3" display making this quite a small unit. It would be much smaller than the traditional 3.5" found in devices like the 19xx iPaq and only slightly larger than the 2.8" that will be in the svelte MPx.
