"Taiwan-based handheld-device maker High Tech Computer (HTC) has produced seven Windows-based handheld devices worldwide since 2002, including three PDA phones and four smartphones under different product names and in various markets. HTC acquired IA Style, a Taiwan-based software development firm specializing in software R&D and system integration for handheld products, in the fourth quarter of 2003, as reported on November 3. The merger helped HTC increase its ability to compete in the PDA, PDA-phone and smartphone markets, allowing it to offer more complete solutions."

Is there any credibility to the statement in the article that the MDA III will be sold by T-Mobile USA? I hadn't seen anything saying that before.

HTC is a Uber ODM. They even won the contract to manufacture the next generation Treo 650/Ace for PalmOne!! 8O
