Ms. Pacman 2005 Released For The Pocket PC
I have to admit that I kind of like the movement lately to port games from "long ago" to the Pocket PC. Usually, I have very fond, first-hand knowledge of the original arcade game, so it's cool to be able to play them once again. Recently, an updated version of Ms. Pacman has been released for the Pocket PC.
The game's main features are:
Easy to learn Ability to submit your best score to our High scores table Option to play game with stylus Control game speed Over 15 levels of fun Music and groovy sound effects Resume option New bonus fruits
If you'd like to give Ms. Pacman a try, you can download a free trial or buy the full version for $14.95 from the PocketGear site.

Ok, am i the only one who noted the game is actually not called "Ms. Pacman", but --- "Ms. PaRkman" on the intro screen ? Is this a legal, non-copyright-infringing adaptation ???
And, then to make matters more legally confusing: The game is then title-barred with the label "The Pacmans" whilst in play mode ?

Everywhere I see a thread in regards to a new Pacman/Ms. Pacman clone that hits the market, I see no one posting anything about the original Pacman and Ms. Pacman that were given away by Microsoft if you purchased a device at the time the Pocket PC was launched years back.
Am I the only one that still uses and holds onto these games that, I believe, came on a CF card or SD card? If you want a true clone that still plays better than any other on the market, these are the best...that is, if you can find a copy

No, you're not. I noticed the inconsitency when I read the article and came here to comment about it. It does certainly seem like the game titling is for legal reasons, however the game resemblence is so strong along with the game's slightly altered title that I agrue they could still be sued for copyright infringment. But whatever, it looks cool. I already have Microsoft's Pacman version though, which I got for free.

I don't know if it's been lowered, but it is now $11.95 - Still, I'd think a bundle of a few things would be better even at that price though.

Considering that many of us downloaded the REAL Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man for FREE when Microsoft offered it for download, well, $11.95 is a little high.

This game originally WAS Mrs. Pacman. And then after some flaming on other PDA portals and some emails to Namco about copyright infringement, Ballshooter probably decided it would be a smart idea to change the name. This all happened all in about oh the last week.

I still have the CF card with Pacman. It's 4-mb. I got it when I joined the MS PPC Club. You got a stylus pen and a t-shirt too. Later on they sent out a small two pocket storage bag.
So what ever happen to that group???
