Default Here's A "Complex" Game For You

http://www.handango.com/brainstore/...roductId=119624

We just found out about a cute little game from Pocketeer, called Complex. It's been nominated for awards by both Pocket PC Magazine and Handango, so it piqued my interest.

I *think* I can understand what the developer is trying to convey in its description:

"Complex is a cool and cute little puzzlegame for the Pocket PC that will keep you going for a while! Moving your way through 60 stylish levels and uber gameplay, you'll discover that long stories and option screens waste your time when all you want to do is have fun."

Hey, I'm all for wasting time, especially when my Pocket PC is involved. I've installed the demo, and it's fun, a bit llike block-pushing maze games like Toki-Tori.

I'm also all for saving money, and Pocketeer is going to offer Complex at a 25% discount through October 2004! If you buy Complex from the Handango site using code 129B1F4, you'll get it for only $4.50! You can get a free demo from Handango, too, but at that price you may just want to grab the full version right away!

I'm trying to buy it, but there are two problems...

First, the link in the top post doesn't work; there's an extra command at the end.

Second, something's wrong on Handango's end because I put the game in the cart, apply the coupon, go to checkout and get a "page cannot be displayed" error.

I will try again later... this game sounds like fun. It reminds me of a game I played eons ago on my PC called "Robo" or something to that effect, where you had to get through mazes and collect objects while dodging blasts. If you got hit, a voice would say "Poor Robo!" (Anyone recognize the game? I'd love to find it again!)

Well, sort of... now it opens as a frame inside the PPC page.

I believe it's supposed to.

Okay; I thought they used to go straight to the Handango page. I guess this is an "internal store" now?

That'll teach me to keep on top of the goings on here at PPCT...

Anyway, I bought the game... way too much fun as a time waster. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to save your place so you can pick up where you left off?

I download the trial and after executing the game, it says that it is not a valid pocketpc game.

Did you install the game like the instructions say? All you have to do is connect your Pocket PC to your PC and run the complex_whoopie_demo_setup.exe file.
