GpsPassion Reviews The Globalsat SD-501
Thinking back to what the first Pocket PC GPS devices looked like, I'm not sure anybody would have guessed just how compact they could quickly become. One of the most compact ones, the Globalsat SD-501, plugs into a Pocket PC's SDIO slot and is amazingly small.
The folks at Gps Passion have put together a review of the SD-501, complete with lots of photos. And, since Gps Passion is a GPS-focused Web site, they're able to make lots of comparisons to other GPS devices. Interestingly enough the SD GPS "idea" has been around for a long time (early 2002), but it's only now that it's becoming more of a concept, i.e something useful!
